Colorful animated figures with round heads walk in a line

Saturdays, March 29th – May 3rd (10-12:30 pm)

(6 weeks) Explore storytelling through Stop-Motion Animation. This program is developed for students with intellectual disabilities that want to learn more about animation, while also developing their story writing skills. The 6-week course is built on a step-by-step structure that supports artists along each step in the production process. With each class, students will learn the next step in production and then use those skills to further develop their stories. From writing, to storyboarding, to drawing and animating, our goal is to provide students with all the tools to continue making animation long after our class is over. As their final project each student will create a short animated video that tells the story they developed in class.
