Our guest for this Virtual Community Conversation is March Artist of the Month Edie Bakker. She is a Texas-based author and poet with a colorful and adventurous background. Edie will be talking about her work, her personal history and will give us some writing tips, then we will do a short writing exercise.

About Community Conversations

Art Spark Texas introduced our virtual arts roundtable series “Community Conversations” in Spring of 2020, as a way of staying connected and continuing our mission during this time of the pandemic. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 7-8pm CST, and invite visual artists, musicians, dancers, actors, writers, disability advocates and others to engage with the Art Spark community.
