Arts Unbound is currently accepting submissions for an exhibition featuring work by black artists with disabilities that will be on view February 2019. This show will celebrate Black History Month by highlighting the achievements of black artists while at the same time bringing attention to the issues around disability in the black community.

For this open call we are specifically inviting black artists who have a physical disability, developmental disability, learning disability, chronic illness, or mental illness to apply. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to submit, and we will be accepting work in any medium, including sound.

• 1 – 3 images at 72 dpi, JPEG format
  • Images must be labeled with artist name, title, medium, size
• An artist statement and short bio
