About Festivals
Our Festivals are inclusive and focused on all ages of children and adults. Whether it’s painting a horse pink at “Art in the Park,” or dancing with a giant shark and getting your face painted at “Art in the Gardens at Moody Gardens,” we celebrate the joy of creativity. These festivals offer a free day of art activities, provided by local corporate and nonprofit organizations, and individuals who want to give to support their community.
Art in the Park
Art in the Park, the annual hands-on multi-art festival held in Austin every year. This grassroots festival has been around for over 25 years and truly captures the spirit of Austin with its combination of the arts, the outdoors, and access for the entire community. Hosted by Art Spark Texas (formerly VSA Texas) and McBeth Recreation Center.
“Art in the Park” includes art booths, live music, and performances on an outdoor stage. Over 1,000 children and young adults with and without disabilities attend this festival each year.
