The Veteran Suicide Prevention Channel is hosting a Launch Party and Fundraiser for the Austin Veteran Arts Festival (AVA Fest). This fundraiser is an interactive cultural arts preview of the festival.

It is also the only national festival to date showcasing art in the way that specifically honors and illuminates the unique experiences of veterans. Our Opening Minds, Opening Doors Speaking Advocates group is free and meets the last Saturday of every month from 1-3 PM in Room 101 of the AGE of Central Texas Building. We welcome adults with disabilities who are interested in presenting stories and meeting other speakers.
