Art Spark Texas, McBeth Recreation Center, and Austin Parks & Recreation invite you and your students to join us for our Annual Art in the Park Festival! We will be back in person for Art in the Park on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 9:30 AM-1:30 PM. We hold this rain-or-shine event at the Fiesta Gardens Pavilion in East Austin.
Art in the Park is our annual outdoor hands-on arts festival for kids of all ages and abilities to enjoy a field trip day at the park. This inclusive grassroots festival has been around for over 25 years and truly captures the spirit of Austin with its combination of the arts, outdoors, and access for the entire community. Enjoy art activities, music and performances on the stage, and food.

ART BOOTHS
We are looking for arts organizations, local businesses, volunteer groups, and individuals to volunteer your time hosting one of the make-and-take-art activities for the day. Come up with your own activity or ask us for guidance.

Performances
We also need performers for the stage for 30-45 minute kid-friendly acts.

Over 1,000 children and young adults with and without disabilities from AISD and surrounding schools attend this festival each year to enjoy a day of art-making! The festival is also open to the public to encourage home-schooled children to attend.
To register your school, class, or homeschool student group, please submit the 2023 Art in the Park Participant Registration Form by March 31st!
