Art Spark’s A Community Thrives fundraiser takes place July 18th through August 12th
Art Spark is one of the charities participating in A Community Thrives, a Gannett Foundation program that supports community improvement ideas with grants up to $100,000. To qualify for a grant, we need to meet a minimum fundraising goal of $3,000 between July 18th and August 12th, 2022, and we need your help!
Help us raise funds for our 2022 Artist of the Year Awards by making a donation online on our A Community Thrives page. Our ultimate goal for this campaign is $8,000.
Each year, the Artist of the Year Awards are given to Texas artists who embody the spirit and vision of Art Spark Texas and who challenge the perceptions of how people contribute by demonstrating artistic excellence or leading the way as a community catalyst for change. It is important for these artists to be seen and heard, and yes, recognized for their abilities and talent. The Artist of the Year Awards celebrate, and encourage, the abundance of creativity in our community.
It’s easy to give. Just visit the Donation page and make a contribution to us. You have several weeks to do this, but there are some exciting fundraising challenges we can meet if you donate right away! All giving will end at 11:00 AM CDT on August 12th, 2022.
