For nearly 30 years, Art in the Park has been a cornerstone event for the Austin community, bringing together special education students, artists, and volunteers to celebrate creativity, community, and inclusion.
This annual festival is more than just an art event—it’s a day dedicated to ensuring that children with disabilities have the opportunity to explore and express themselves through art in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Students with disabilities often face challenges in accessing creative spaces. Art in the Park is designed to change that-by creating an environment where accessibility is the priority so kids of all ages and abilities can participate in creativity and art.
