On November 18th, 1928 a star was born. Internationally beloved Mickey Mouse made his big-screen debut in Steamboat Willie. Since then he has become a cartoon superstar for Disney. Our artist of the month for November 2018 is not Walt Disney or Mickey Mouse, but Erin Rosales, the biggest Disney fan I know. Erin is a native Austinite and painter.

She works in acrylics and typically creates pet portraits. She says, “I have a great love for animals and I try to express that emotion through my artwork.” We met Erin when she applied to our 2017 Holiday Art and Gift Show. We displayed and sold several of her pet portraits. She was also a featured artist in our Pop Up Pet Portrait Exhibit in April 2018.

This November and December, Erin is honoring the 90th birthday of Mickey Mouse with her Disney themed paintings at the same time that we are honoring the 10th Anniversary of our Holiday Art and Gift Show.
